PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUMCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Rsmsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, December <br />13, 1988 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnes ora. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember David Bawden <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />~ALL TO O~pER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular City Council meeting to order at 7:08 p.m. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZSN INPUT <br /> <br />Bradley Kern - 17940 Uranium Street N.W. - Stated that he has a lease <br />agreement for an off-sale liquor store in Rum River Plaza; he applied for <br />the additional off-sale liquor license recently made available in Ramsey; <br />requested Council action on the application at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley explained that Police Chief Auspos is in the process of <br />investigating applications for the off-sale license; Ramsey's time schedule <br />is such that the license will not be available to anyone until April, 1989. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann adjourned the regular meeting at 7:12 p.m. in order to <br />conduct the following public hearings: <br /> <br />1. Proposed ordinance for no wake along the Rum River. <br />2. Proposed amendment to l{ome Rule Charter establishing Police <br /> Department. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the regular meeting back to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> <br />SPPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Bawden and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the agenda with the following additions: <br /> City Council/December 13, 1988 <br /> <br />Page 2~= 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
