ORDINANCE ~ 88- 4 CITY OF RA~EY ANOKA COUh~Y STATE OF HIhq{ESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 170. known as the Planning, Subdivision and Signs Chapter of Chapter 170. of the city Code. AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 170.06 to the City Code and repealing Section 170.03OF of the city Code and repealing Ordinance 83-13. The city of Ramsey ordains: SECTION I. APIENDfr2ER~f. Chapter 170.06 of the city Code is amended as follows: 170.06 PARK kND OPEN SPACE DEDICATION 170.061 PURi~0SE The purposes of this section are to provide funds which the City shall dedicate and use only for the acquisition of parks, playgrounds, trails, and/or open space, as'well as provide a means for the City to acquire a reasonable portion of each new subdivision for public use as parks, playgrounds, trails and/or open space. 170.062 LARD DEDICATION In all ne%' residential or commercial subdivisions, ten percent (10%) of the gross area subdivided shall be dedicated to the public for public use as parks, p! aygr ou nds, trails and/or open space, in all new industrial subdivisions, five - ~ pe, cen~ (5%) of the gross area subdivided shall be dedicated to the public for public use as parks, playgrounds, trails and/or open space. Along with the dedication re.=uired in this section, additional land %'ithin the gross area subdivided may be re~aired to be dedicated to the public for public use as sto_~m %'ater holding areas cr ponds.
