Chairman Zimmerman called the regular meeting back to order a~ 9:23 p.m. <br /> <br />Case #3:Review Sketch Plan For Chestnut Hills Addition: <br /> <br />Mr. Derick Passe ol Ulleig Engineering was present represenlin~ Mr. John Peterson of Good <br />Value Homes and requestin~ sketch plan review of 1he proposed plal of Chestnul Hills <br />Addition. The proposed p~al consists ol 102 lots Iog..ated norlhwest of Ramsey ';'efface and <br />proposed lo be served by Cil), sewer and water. <br /> <br />Tr~e Commission reviewed Cib, Engineer Raatikka's reporl, doled December 29, 1988. In line <br />discussion, il was delermined thai the City Engineer should consider aligning lhe MSA <br />conneclion belween Ct)'. Rd. ¢5 and Sunfish Lake Blvd. south ct lZath to avoid an existing <br />developed area and bring the route closer to 3 major subdivisions planned in ~he area (Cedar <br />Hills, Cheslnut Hills and Windemere Woods). <br /> <br />Commissioner Shumway noled that 1he plan has yet to be reviewed by 1he Park Commission, <br />but in his opinion the trail syslem proposed will not be adequate. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Terry approving the <br />concept of Chestnut Hills and that the developer may proceed to preliminary plat slage <br />provided major subdivision streets meet the 66 loot widlh requirement and lots meet <br />minimum size and area requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Howell, Shumway and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Holm. <br /> <br />Commissioner Howell requested cily staff ~o prepare one layout for the Commission tho~, <br />would indicate all three of 'lhe proposed subdivisions in 'Ibis general area; Cedar Hills, <br />Chestnut Hills and Windemere Woods. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howel', and se,t, onded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend tho1 <br />Cily Council order a join~ EAW for Cedar Hills Addition, Windemere Woocs Addition and <br />Chestnut Hiiis Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
