Council member Kurak introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #03-07-190 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD FOR A PAID ON-CALL FIRE <br />FIGHTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Bromen began working for the City May 9, 2002 as a paid, on-call fire <br />fighter and was subject to a one-year probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Bromen has completed the required one-year probationary period and the <br />necessary training; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its July 22, 2003 meeting agreed with the staff <br />recommendation to end the probationary period for M. Bromen effective July 23, 2003. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel <br /> Committee to end the probationary period for John Bromen, effective July 23, 2003. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Gamec <br /> Councilmember Kurak <br /> Councilmember Cook <br /> Councilmember Elvig <br /> Councilmember Pearson <br /> Councilmember Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br /> lid <br />the 22 day of July2003. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
