Council member Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-07-178 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF OUTLOT A, AEC ENERGY PARK <br />FOURTH ADDITION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council approved an ordinance to sell OUTLOT A, AEC ENERGY <br />PARK FOURTH ADDITION on April 22; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Option Agreement for the subject parcel expired on December 31, 2002 <br />for Knoll Properties, thus leaving the property available for sale to interested parties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the terms of the purchase agreement are such that the property will be closed <br />on December 1, 2003. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the buyer will place a $20,000 non-refundable deposit on the property to <br />compensate the City for holding the property off the market until the closing date. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />That OUTLOT A, AEC ENERGY PARK FOURTH ADDITION, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, may be sold pursuant to the terms and conditions of the attached purchase <br />agreement and that the City's Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to execute the <br />necessary documents to convey said title. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Pearson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember Zimmerman <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Kurak <br />Councilmember Strommen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
