CC Regular Session <br />Meeting Date: 03/26/2013 <br />By: Chris Anderson, Community <br />Development <br />4. 4. <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Adopt Resolution 13-03-062 Proclaiming May 18, 2013 as Arbor Day and the Month of May as Arbor Month. <br />Background: <br />As part of the Tree City USA requirements, the City must adopt an Arbor Day proclamation. In Minnesota, Arbor <br />Day is officially observed on the last Friday in April and the month of May is recognized as Arbor Month, however, <br />a City may designate any day they wish as Arbor Day in their community. The City will be installing the remainder <br />of the landscaping in North Commons, with the assistance of volunteers, on May 18, 2013.
