Specifically, the City is <br />contemplating two general development options (residential or data center). <br />Staff recently sent out the attached correspondence to surrounding property owners regarding <br />this manner. Purpose of said correspondence: <br />(1) Provide residents with detailed background information/notification of proposed <br />development(s) <br />(2) Invite residents to provide input/feedback <br />(3) Invite residents to attend an open house on April 18, 6:OOpm, Ramsey Municipal <br />Center <br />Please forward feedback from residents to Patrick Brama. Staff will be compiling said data for <br />Council/EDA/PC review. Attached to the Weekly Update is a Letter sent to Surrounding <br />Property Owners regard the Old Municipal Center Complex Development. <br />Department Highlights: <br />Based upon recent Council feedback, the format for the "Department Highlights" section is being <br />revised to highlight only the significant events of general interest. <br />Admin <br />Senator Al Franken was at the Fountain's Event Center at the invitation of Mr. Jim Deal to <br />discuss the Highway #10 Corridor. Members of the Council Highway 10 Work Group <br />(Srommen, Tossey, and LeTourneau) attended as well as City Staff, representatives of <br />surrounding cities' business interests, and the Chamber of Commerce. An emphasis was placed <br />on public safety and Economic Development. The Senator pledged to continue to work on <br />funding for transportation and support the Highway 10 efforts. <br />
