The trail <br />corridor should be designated as'park on the final plat. <br /> <br />In review of the preliminary plat data required by the City <br />Code, we found the following errors or omissions: <br /> <br /> a. Names and addresses of the owner and subdivider of the land <br /> were not shown. <br />b. Location width and type of surfacing of existing streets <br /> were not shown. <br /> c. Soil borings to establish water table. <br /> d. Street names do not correspond to the City's grid system. <br /> <br />The proposed plat was submitted on the basis being included in <br />the year 2000 urban service area. The 2000 urban service area <br />boundary as proposed by the City has been recently rejected by <br />the Metropolitan Council (see the February, 1987 Ramsey <br />Resident). <br /> <br />Met Council staff was of the opinion that the proposed year <br />2000 Urban Service Area was not realistic in comparison to <br />their forecasts for Ramsey. it will be up to the City of <br />Ramsey to convince Met Council as to the extent of the Urban <br />Area expansion. <br /> <br />222 Monroe Street <br />Anoka, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />61Z/427-5860 <br /> <br />Eugene J.
