ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS <br /> <br />A. Air Quality Control - As explained in the engineer's report, the <br />~urnace is being upgraded to include a begger house to remove the <br />perticulate~ from the furnace emimmlons. <br /> <br />B. Water Ouality - Because no water is being used in this system, <br />the only water issue is that of the water requirements for <br />employees. That issue is being addressed by upgrading the septic <br />system on the mite. <br /> <br />C. Oil Issues - By the time the feed stock reaches Danny's <br />Aluminum Processing, Inc., from Danny's Trannys, Inc., all the <br />transmission parts have been separated and all oil has been drained <br />from the trsnsmis~ions. There may be an oil film on the parts, but <br />any oil dripping {rom those parts should be very, very slight. <br />Also, there will be no storage of any materials on the soil. Ail <br />soil will be protected by hard-surfacing, whether inside or outside, <br />so the otl should not be a problem. <br /> <br />COMMITMENT TO ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE OPERATION <br /> <br />Damny's Aluminum Processing, Inc. and its owner, Daniel W. Ksrst, <br />Jr., are committed to complying with all standards established <br />either now or in the future by the Environmental Protection Agency <br />or the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. <br /> <br />In addition, both commit to taking all reasonable steps to keep the <br />environment safe whether the issue relates to soil, water or sir <br />contamination. <br /> <br />Both are committed to upgrading the equipment <br />change and as the technology provides more <br />resolving environmental issues. <br /> <br /> as the standards <br />efficient ways of <br /> <br /> <br />
