~ An As-Built drawlng shall be provided to the City sho~lng <br />the location of the conductors between the breaker cabinet and the pole <br />or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the City by the contractor <br />prior to the Clty accepting the street lights. <br /> <br />5. ~ All conductors, sultable for direct burial, will be type USE, <br /> copper cable with ground. <br /> <br />6. Grounding: <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distribution circuit <br />there must be Installed a driven ground as r~ulred by National <br />Electric Code Article t250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any distrlbutlon clrcuit over 300 feet In length must have a driven <br /> ground rod at mldpolnt. <br /> <br />C. Ground wire must be Insulated wlre suitable for direct burial. <br /> <br />For 120 volt clrcults all conductors will be brought up the pole <br />and connections will be made at the fixture. Re ground wire wlll be <br />connected to the grounding lug If provided. If there is no grounding <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. <br /> <br />Where more than one llght ls In I~ne, a splice will be made above <br />grade in the J unctlon box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done in the <br />Junc~rion box and a in-the-line fuse shall be installed. <br /> <br />8. Photo Control: Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practical. <br /> <br />9. Locks.' One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by <br /> the electrical contractor. <br /> <br />10. Completlon: When street lighting Is completed by the Contractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspectcr for Inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 <br /> ~ne electrical con~ractor shall forward approved copy (blue? of electrical <br /> Inspectlon to the Ci~/ of Anoka or NSP. ~-ne City of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energize ~ne lights and notify the City of addresses and date energlzed. <br /> Flnat acceptance is not made untll As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submitted to the City Engineer by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> <br />
