Mr. Hartle>, presented a summaD' of ordinances/policies that are in the process of being <br />reviewed or need to be reviewed. <br /> <br />Case #16: Current Status Of City Projects: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley provided Council with a project status report. These reports have been <br />developed to improve communication between Council and Staff. <br /> <br />Case #17: <br /> <br />Status Of Anoka/Ramsey Delegation; Case Of McKinley Street <br />Extension: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart reported that thc first meeting of the Anoka Ramsey Delegation is scheduled <br />for Monday, April t7 at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room at Anoka City Hall. <br /> <br />Case #6: Review Residential Itousing Standards: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich recalled that at the requ:~st of the Building Official, the housing ordinance <br />was introduced on March 28, 1989 in order to provide provisions for addressing <br />substandard and unsanitary housing conditions. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca suggested that the ordinance should clarify the criteria to be used <br />in determining ent-o~ to a home for inspection is necessarY. <br /> <br />Council directed that language be added to the ordinance identifying criteria to be used in <br />determining cause for entering a home. <br /> <br />Case #18: <br /> <br />Consider Adoption Of Resolution Supporting Expansion Of <br />The Mississippi County Park: <br /> <br />City Council reviewed the proposed resolution to support expansion of Mississippi County <br />Park. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley reported that the actual boundaries of that property adjacent to Hwy. #t0 that <br />would be returned to Ramsey for commerical development as well as the park boundaries <br />as the relate to Mr. Jim Martin's property are still in negotiations. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Reimann to adopt Resolution <br />#89-04-72 approving the expansion of the Mississippi West County Park. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Hartley noted that the City has received assurance from <br />Commissioner Steffen that park plans include an easement for a storm sewer outlet to the <br />Mississippi River and a 500 foot corridor is being reserved for a bridge crossing. <br />Councilmember DeLuca expressed concern with the resolution implying park boundaries <br />and the fact that Mr. Ma"fin is not present to address his interests nor has the City received <br />an answer from Commissioner Steffen regarding the amount of acreage required for a <br />regional park. Ix,L,'. Hartley noted that the park boundaries cannot be negotiated until there <br />is a basic endorsement by the City to expand the Count>, park. Councilmember Peterson <br />restated his motion as fol[ows: <br /> <br />Motion by.
