Case #2: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF <br />NORTH FORTY 2ND ADDITION <br />By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development ~r <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The proposed North Forty 2nd Addition consists of two blocks; Block One with 7 lots and Block Two <br />with 6 lots. The proposed subdivision is located in the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest. 1/4 of Section <br />17, Township 32, Range 25. The forty acre parcel is located West of Whispering Pines Estates Plat <br />3. On December 8, 1988, the Park and <br />Recreation Commission recommended that 75 feet along the South side of the property and one acre <br />in the Southwest quarter of the plat and the remainder in cash be used to satisfy park dedication <br />requirements. On January 4, 1989, the City received formal application and escrow payment for <br />the subdivision platting process. Also on January 4, 1989, R. J. Sybrant 2nd Addition's name was <br />changed to North Forty 2nd Addition. On February 7, 1989 the Ramsey Planning and Zoning <br />Commission tabled action on the plat until the developer has complied with comments in the City <br />Engineer's report (January 31, 1989). <br /> <br />Reconunendations: <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of North Forty 2nd Addition, contingent upon compliance to the City <br />Engineer's reviews and approval by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to recommend approval/denial of North Forty 2nd Addition preliminary plat contingent <br />upon compliance to the City Engineer's reviews and approval by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator __ <br />City Attorney <br />City Engineer X <br />Community Development Director X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Planning & Zoning Commission X <br />Park & Recreation Commission <br /> <br /> <br />
