GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />September, 1987 <br /> <br />£TREET [!GHT~NG <br /> <br />Champlln, Minnesota <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~ It is the Intent that the Installation shall be furnished <br />complete In all respects Including all labor and materials as required <br />by the City of Champlin, the power company (AEC or NSP), and the State <br />Electrical Inspector to complete the project. All contractors Installing <br />lighting In the Anoka Electric service area are to contact Jeff Larkln, <br />Anoka Electric, Ph: 421-6631, before beginning construction. <br /> <br />Breaker Cabinet: All taps to transformer shall be within breaker cabinet <br />located ~t the feed point. -The breaker cablnet shall be located immediately <br />adjacent and close to the transformer pad (see a~-fached sketch for detat!s). <br />Pedestal height (20"-24~) above grade. The pedestal can be placed on either <br />side of the feed point transformer. <br /> <br />Type of Lighting: The Developer shall furnlsh and Install hlgh pressure <br />sodium street lights In the size, location and style per City requirements. <br /> <br />A. East-Arm Mounted Street Lighting (Count. State, City MSAS Streets) <br /> <br />For mast-arm mounted luminaries use 30-foot, class 6 or 7, solld <br />street light pole, cellon treated, and stained brown. The 250 watt <br />luminaries shall be placed on 35-foot poles. All poles shall <br />have a 5-foot bury depth and are to be used with a horizontal <br />mounted ftx~fure and served from an underground system. Wiring <br />shall be placed on the back side of the pole and covered ~ith a <br />~U-guardM made of durable plastic (schedule 80PVC) or galvanized <br />metal meeting requirements of State Electrical inspector. <br /> <br />Attach the bracket arm to the pole with one 5/8-inch diameter by 12- <br />inch long galvanized bolt a~d one or ~o (as required) 1/2-1nch dia- <br />meter x 3-Inch galvanized lag bolts.
