~ An As-Built drawing shall be provlded to the City sho~ing the location of the conductors between the breaker cablne~- and the pole or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the Clty by the contractor prior to the City accepting the street lights. 5. ~ All conductors, suitable for direct burial, ~.III be type USE, copper cabie with ground. 6. Grounding: Ae At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distribution circuit there must be Installed a driven ground as required by Nat!onal Electric Code Article J250-84. B. Any distribution clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a drlven ground rod at midpoint. C. Ground wire must be Insulated wire suitable for dlrect burlal. 7. Circuits: For 120 volt circuits all conductors will be brought up the pole and connections will be made at the fixture. The ground wire will be connected to the grounding lug if provided. If there Is no grounding lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. Where more than one Ilght is in line, a splice will be made above grade In the junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done in the Junc~rlon box and a in-the-llne fuse shall be installed. 8. Photo Control: Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practical. 9. ~ One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by the electrical contractor. 10. Completion: When street lighting is completed by the Contractor, he shall contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 Re electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of elec±rlcal Inspection to the City of Anoka or NSP. Re City of Anoka or NSP shall energize the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. Final acceptance is not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies have been submit±ed to the City Engineer by the Contractor.
