~ An As-Built drawing shall be provlded to the City sho~ing <br />the location of the conductors between the breaker cablne~- and the pole <br />or poles; these drawings shall be provided to the Clty by the contractor <br />prior to the City accepting the street lights. <br /> <br />5. ~ All conductors, suitable for direct burial, ~.III be type USE, <br /> copper cabie with ground. <br /> <br />6. Grounding: <br /> <br />Ae <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distribution circuit <br />there must be Installed a driven ground as required by Nat!onal <br />Electric Code Article J250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any distribution clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a drlven <br /> ground rod at midpoint. <br /> <br />C. Ground wire must be Insulated wire suitable for dlrect burlal. <br /> <br />7. Circuits: <br /> <br />For 120 volt circuits all conductors will be brought up the pole <br />and connections will be made at the fixture. The ground wire will be <br />connected to the grounding lug if provided. If there Is no grounding <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. <br /> <br />Where more than one Ilght is in line, a splice will be made above <br />grade In the junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done in the <br />Junc~rlon box and a in-the-llne fuse shall be installed. <br /> <br />8. Photo Control: Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practical. <br /> <br />9. ~ One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by <br /> the electrical contractor. <br /> <br />10. Completion: When street lighting is completed by the Contractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 <br /> Re electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of elec±rlcal <br /> Inspection to the City of Anoka or NSP. Re City of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energize the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. <br /> Final acceptance is not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submit±ed to the City Engineer by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> <br />
