proposed for this area. <br /> <br />On May 23, 1989, City Council directed City Staff to proceed with the negotiated <br />purchase of necessary lands for the extension of 180th Avenue NW and to proceed <br />in the event of successful purchase, the vacation of portions of the cul-de-sac, <br />which would become unnecessary in the event of the street extension. The <br />subdivider of Gordon's Gardens 2nd Addition would assume financial <br />responsibility for the negotiated purchase and also the restoration of the cul-de- <br />sac prior to vacation to those benefitting property owners residing outside of the <br />proposed subdivision. In addition, Mr. Gordon stated that he was agreeable to <br />providing easements for the continued extension of 180th Avenue NW to the south. <br /> <br />On June 16, 1989, a letter was sent to Kenneth R. and M.K. Lewandowski, the <br />affected property owners for the possible negotiated land purchase. The City is <br />awaiting a meeting with the Lewandowski's.
