Social Hour /cash bar begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner and introductions at 6:00 p.m. <br />Presentations by Bob Obermeyer, Barr Engineering and Jamie Schurbon, Anoka County <br />Conservation District will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by a discussion of the Anoka Dam. <br />Adjournment is expected at approximately 8:00 p.m. Dinner choices include chicken breast or <br />top sirloin steak. If you are interested in attending, please let Jo know as soon as possible. <br />RSVP's are due Friday, April 12. <br />Council Update <br />Joint Meeting with Anoka. Some time ago, Ramsey City Council agreed to and scheduled a <br />date for a joint meeting with the City Council of Anoka. As a reminder, that meeting is Tuesday, <br />April 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held here in the Lake Itasca Room. <br />Armstrong Interchange Senate Hearing. Councilmember Tossey testified on behalf of the <br />City at the Senate Transportation and Public Safety Finance Committee hearing on Monday. <br />The bill was passed along for "possible inclusion" — a good thing. <br />Fire Department <br />• Notable Responses <br />o 4/12- Possible fire in the wall in the 7800 block of 156 Ave NW. Unit arrived to <br />find light haze in home. Further investigation found an electrical outlet in <br />bedroom had arcing on outside due to possible loose neutral wire. Resident's <br />phone charger had been plugged into outlet. Phone and charger sustained damage. <br />Crews checked for extension and advised homeowner to shut circuit off and get <br />system checked. <br />
