Open House for the construction start of The Seasons of Ramsey — Wednesday, April 24, 2013 — 3:30 — 5:00 p.m. — The Falls Cafe, 7533 Sunwood Drive, Ramsey (320- 255 -1719) Lower Rum River Water Management Organization Dinner Meeting — for all LRRWMO City Officials - Thursday, April 25, 2013 — Greenhaven Country Club, 2800 Greenhaven Road, Anoka. Social Hour /cash bar begins at 5:30 p.m., dinner and introductions at 6:00 p.m. Presentations by Bob Obermeyer, Barr Engineering and Jamie Schurbon, Anoka County Conservation District will begin at 7:00 p.m., followed by a discussion of the Anoka Dam. Adjournment is expected at approximately 8:00 p.m. Dinner choices include chicken breast or top sirloin steak. If you are interested in attending, please let Jo know as soon as possible. RSVP's are due Friday, April 12. Council Update Joint Meeting with Anoka. Some time ago, Ramsey City Council agreed to and scheduled a date for a joint meeting with the City Council of Anoka. As a reminder, that meeting is Tuesday, April 30, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held here in the Lake Itasca Room. Armstrong Interchange Senate Hearing. Councilmember Tossey testified on behalf of the City at the Senate Transportation and Public Safety Finance Committee hearing on Monday. The bill was passed along for "possible inclusion" — a good thing. Fire Department • Notable Responses o 4/12- Possible fire in the wall in the 7800 block of 156 Ave NW. Unit arrived to find light haze in home. Further investigation found an electrical outlet in bedroom had arcing on outside due to possible loose neutral wire. Resident's phone charger had been plugged into outlet. Phone and charger sustained damage. Crews checked for extension and advised homeowner to shut circuit off and get system checked.
