Riverdale Drive Reconstruction. The City is in the process of designing an improvement project
along Riverdale Drive. This project includes the reconstruction of Armstrong Boulevard from
Highway 10 to Riverdale Drive, as well as Riverdale Drive between Armstrong Boulevard and the
cul-de-sac east of Alpaca Street. In addition, the city is proposing to extend Riverdale Drive to
the east to connect to Traprock Street. This work will require some detouring of traffic so the city
is developing a project web page to provide current detour route information throughout the
project.
On April 26th a letter was sent to affected businesses inviting them to attend a Public Information
meeting regarding the reconstruction of Riverdale Dive. The Public Information meeting will be
held on Monday, May 6th at 2:00 p.m. in the Alexander Ramsey Room at City Hall. Attached to
the Weekly Update is a copy of the letter sent to the businesses. A letter inviting affected
residents to a second meeting will be mailed soon.
Administration
• The Mayors of Andover, Anoka and Ramsey invite you to join them for the annual
Mayors' Prayer Breakfast.
