CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:55 p.m. <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />Strategic Planning <br />Anita Duckor of Duckor & Associates was present to facilitate the meeting/session. She <br />explained that the outcome of the meeting would hopefully be common appreciation of the depth <br />and breadth of the challenges facing the city of Ramsey, common understanding of two <br />scenarios, common understanding of the staffing reductions and work - related implications due to <br />the cuts and that a scenario would be selected to pursue — giving staff clear direction on where <br />Council wants to go. <br />Upon request, each staff member described what the workload is and what is not getting done <br />and what will continue to not get done if the budget remains status quo and the main reasons for <br />requesting the new day budget scenario.
