Date: May 29th, 2013 <br />To Whom It May Concern: <br />Let it be known, I do not want an auto repair/sales/detailing shop located two houses down from <br />me. Why have zoning if it doesn't matter? Why consider the applicants' request if he/she knows <br />zoning does not allow this type of business next to a residential area of our community? I have <br />lived here 12+ years, paid taxes based on our property, and expect a certain level of leadership <br />from our city leaders. <br />Stand firm on the city charter passed in 2001 (14). While I respect businesses and their <br />important role in our community, the location of this type of business should not be dependant <br />on available empty buildings. There is land available in areas zoned for this type of <br />business.
