Norman <br />City Administrator <br />City of Ramsay <br />151 53 Nowthen Boulevard NW <br />Ramsay, Minnesota 55303~6140 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Norman: <br /> <br />This letter serves as an amendment to our current contra, ct for consulting services to <br />assist the City of Ramsay in identifying and implementing strategies related to positive <br />land-use and transportation improvements within the TH#lO Corridor. <br /> <br />Per our meeting October 28, there are a number of next steps that have beer identified <br />as part of a plan to continue these efforts. This letter serves as a request for <br />authorization to continue work and complete the tasks as agreed upon below: <br /> <br />· Continued communication with properly owners as the AUAR is finalized and <br /> interim land use controls are considered and/or implemented. <br />· Coordination with Mn/DOT in regard to the development of an official map. <br />· Coordination with Mn/DOT in regard to Ramsey park and ride lot/facility to <br /> maximize additional funding and improvements. <br />· Participation in the development of. interim land use controls. <br />· Attend council work sessions to provide information and education related to <br /> planning activities to policy makers. <br />· Continued support in Washington D.C. including meeting coordination, update <br /> materials, communication with Congressman Kennedy's office in regard to FY04 <br /> Appropriations request and other opportunities to improve awareness and <br /> support for TH10 improvements. <br />· Continued communication with the Metropolitan Council to pursue and <br /> coordinate use of RALF funds for property acquisition as well as Mn/DOT due <br /> diligence activities. <br />· Provide staff assistance regarding the financing of regional' improvements to <br /> include identifying and securing alternative funding sources. <br />· Other duties as assigned by the principal contact James E. Norman, City <br /> Administrator. <br /> <br /> <br />
