~ An As-Built drawing shall be provided to the City showing <br />the location of the conductors between /~e breaker cabinet and ~he pole <br />or poles; these dravlngs shall be provided to the City by the contractor <br />prior to the City accepting the street lights. <br /> <br />5. Cables: All conductors, suitable for direct burial, wlll be type USE, <br /> copper cable with ground. <br /> <br />6. Grounding: <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distrlbutlon clrcult <br />there must be Installed a driven ground as required by National <br />Electric Code Article 1250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any dlstrlbutlon clrcult over 300 feet In length must have a driven <br /> ground rod at mldpolnt. <br /> <br />C. Ground wlre must be Insulated ~Ire suitable for direct burlal. <br /> <br />For 120 volt clrcults all conductors wlll be brought up the pole <br />and connections will be made at the fixture. T~e ground wire will be <br />connected to the groundlng lug If provided. If there ls no grounding <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to the mast arm. <br /> <br />Be <br /> <br />Where more than one light Is In line, a splice ~lll be made above <br />grade in the junction box. Junction box shali be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Spliclng shall be done in the <br />junc~rlon box and a in-the-line fuse shall be installed. <br /> <br />8. ~hoto Control: Photo control ls to be faced as nearly north as practical. <br /> <br />9. ~ One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by <br /> the electrical contractor. <br /> <br />10. Completlon: When street llghtlng Is completed by the Contractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspector for inspection (Eugene Boyle, 755-1499 <br /> Re electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrical <br /> inspection to the Cl,*y of Anoka or NSP. Re City of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energize the lights and no~fy the City of addresses and d~te energized. <br /> Fl nal acceptance is not made until As-Butlts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submitted to the City Engineer by the Contractor. <br /> <br /> <br />
