Thc <br />water quality management of water resources in this category will be <br />entirely a local responsibility. <br /> <br />Each water body or wetland that is classifxcd ms protected, managed or <br />preserved will be evaluated to determine if water quality storage can <br />be provided consistent with the other functions and uses intended for <br />that body. A water quality management envelope will be esteblished for <br />each water body or wetland to preserve that water quality storage <br />volume. The water quality management envelope will protect the water <br />quality storage volume until final evaluation of the water quality <br />storage volume needs for that subwatershed are completed. <br /> <br />Possible management practices to achieve desired water quality <br />objectives in each subwatershed would include some or a combination of <br />the following practices: <br /> <br />A. Source Control <br /> <br />1. On-Site Detention Basins <br /> <br />Retrofit all existing areas with equivalent of on-site <br />detention basips. <br /> <br />Retrofit only existing areas with on-site detention <br />basins when specific need and benefit identified. <br />Require development of on-site sediment basins in areas <br />of new development only. <br /> <br />2302047/LRRWMO.
