Commissioner t-lendriksen stated that in addition to the current status of conditional use pen'nit compliance, he intended for the histom, of violations at the site to be reported so that they could be addressed in the findings of fact relatinl: to the r~uest for an expansion. Mr. Banwart noted that the applicants have received approval from Mn/DOT for two accesses onto Hw','.. #10; City Staff is recommending one access to H``,,'y. #10 from the westerly boundar',' of the property. Commissioner Hendriksen noted that the vehicle sales lot attracts public during off- business hours; the accesses to the business are blocked and people park in the Count,,' and State road right-of-way. Mr. Banwart noted that parking along State and County right-of-ways is a major problem in the entire Hwy. #10 Corridor and suggested that the City intiate a request at the Count``' and State levels 'to post 'no parking' signs. Mr. Banwart also noted that City Staff is recommending that the 3 parcels involved be consolidated into one tax parcel. The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Chairman Zimmerman to amend Item #14 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the applicant is proposing two accesses onto Hwy. #10 if the expansion is approved. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, LaDue and Te;Ty. Motion bv Commissioner Deemer and seconded bv Commissioner Bawden to amana Item #17 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the applicant is proposing to increase the tot~ amount of vehicle display/customer parking spaces from 57 to 140. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, La.Due and Terry.. Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend Item #21 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the proposed expansion will not be unduly dangerous to persons residing or working in the vicinity. Further Discussion: Commissioner Deemer stated that the business will be dangerous to the public unless off-street parking is provided during off-business hours.
