Grounding: <br /> <br />At the breaker cabinet and at the end of each distrlbutlon circuit <br />there must be Installed a driven ground as requlred by National <br />Electric Code Article ~250-84. <br /> <br />B. Any dlstrlbu?lon circuit over 300 feet In length must have a driven <br /> ground rod at midpoint. <br /> <br />C. Ground wlre must be Insulated wlre suitable for direct burial. <br /> <br />For 120 volt clrcults all conductors will be brought up ~ahe pole <br />and connections will be made at the fixture. ~e ground wire will be <br />connected to the grounding lug If provlded. If there is no grounding <br />lug, the fixture shall be grounded to ~e mast arm. <br /> <br />Where more ~an one light is In llne, a splice ~lll be made above <br />grade in the junction box. Junction box shall be placed on the pole <br />approximately 1' above ground level. Splicing shall be done In the <br />junc~rlon box and a In-the-line fuse shall be Installed. <br /> <br />8. Photo Control: Photo control is to be faced as nearly north as practical. <br /> <br />9. Lock~.' One-shot, loop-type locks are to be placed at each feed point by <br /> the elec~rrlcal contractor. <br /> <br />10. Comoletlon: When street lighting is completed by the Contractor, he shall <br /> contact the Electrical Inspector for inspec-~,ion (Eugene ~oyle, 755-1~99 <br /> ~e electrical contractor shall forward approved copy (blue) of electrlcal <br /> inspection to the CI~ of Anoka or NSP. ~e C~ty of Anoka or NSP shall <br /> energize the lights and notify the City of addresses and date energized. <br /> Final acceptance is not made until As-Bullts and 5 blue-line copies <br /> have been submltted to the City Engineer by the Contrac-~or. <br /> <br /> <br />
