CASE #I1: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO HAVE AN APARTMENT IN A <br />CHURCH; CASE OF JEHOVAH WITNESS KINGDOM HALL <br /> By: Planning Assistant Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The Jehovah Witness K/ngdom Hall, located at 13741 Dolomite Street N.W., is requesting a <br />conditional use permit amendment in order to have an apartment in the lower level of the church <br />facility to accommodate visiting ministers and church officials. The applicant has indicated that the <br />apartment will be used a maximum of 18 weeks per year. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />The City Building Official has reviewed the application and indicates that the lower level apartment <br />would have to be provided with an egress window and smoke alarm. <br /> <br />It should also be noted that municipal sewer and water are available and according to City Code, <br />the property has until January 1, 1991 to connect to the services.
