Jean Schlueter - Inquired as to how the residents can comment at this public hearing on a <br />project for which there ~?.~ no fi."'- ~1~',: vet. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that the feasibility study has been prepared which generally outlines the <br />improvements: the questions that have been raised are relevanl and aid in the design of a <br />project that will have the least impact on the residents, h is no: practical or required to <br />prepare complete design plans before the public hearing on a prcoect. <br /> <br />Jean Schlueter - Referred to the vacant lot in Rum Acres Estates currently used as a <br />drainage area and proposed to be pan of the storm sewer improvements and inquired as to <br />the implications for future use of that lot as far as it's accessibility to sewer and water. <br /> <br />Mr: Hantey stated that the lot to which Jean Schlueter refers would have to follow the same <br />procedures that apply to an), other public improvements in order to have municipal sen,ices. <br />Mr. Hanley noted that utilities are not being stubbed into this subject area. <br /> <br />Dick Knutson - Stated that the lot to which Jean Schlueter refers could not be served by <br />municipal services without approaching Metro Council for an amendment to the MUSA <br />boundary. <br /> <br />Lynn Rickert - 15231 Waco Street - Stated that she should not have to contend with the <br />dust and dirt in her home resulting from the development of Juniper Woods; the developer <br />should pave the entire street of Juniper Woods Drive at the onset of Phase I to provide <br />access for construction and new resident traffic. Inquired as to how much it would cost the <br />developer to provide for a temporary paving of Juniper Woods Drive. <br /> <br />Nh'. Raatikka estimated that it would cost $12,000 to provide temporau, paving of Juniper <br />Woods Drive. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley noted that earlier this evening during the special meeting, I~h'. Knutson had <br />requested tabling final plat approval of Juniper Woods; at this time, the developer has <br />indicated that he is willing to provide for temporary paving to 153rd and is requesting that <br />his request for final plat approval be acted upon following this public hearing. <br /> <br />Sue Damyanovich - Stated that it should be stipulated that Waco Street, 151st and Juniper <br />Ridge Drive will not be accessible until Juniper Woods Drive is paved to 153rd. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Counciimember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adjourn <br />the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mavor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson.
