Rustad. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter.

Case #2 Review Sketch Plan for Wildwood Estates

Clayton Berg handed out a preliminary plat.

Merland Otto told the Commission that on the over all trail map we may want some land along the
southwest corner of this plat if we are interested in extending the trail system to the north for
access in Countryside Estates. If the Commission is not interested in the extension to the north I
suggest taking cash. He also told the Commission that he was hard put to make a recommendation
at this point due to the fact that he has not looked at the topographical map of the area.

Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Prall to accept the money and
not ask for any land and to strike the northern portion of the trail corridor.

Motion denied. Voting Yes: Commissioners Shumway and Prall. Voting No: Commissioners
Hetland, Johnson, Lokker and Rustad. Absent: Chairman Lichter.

Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Lokker to table this issue unit
the Commission receives fudher information on the topographical map of the: land.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Johnson, Lokker and Rustad. Voting No:
Commissioners Shumway and Prall. Absent: Chairman Lichter.

Case #3 Review ~;kel;ch of Chestnut Hills Addition/Plan Dedicetion for Chestnut
Hills Addition. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Johnson, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and
Rustad. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter.

Case #4 Discussion of Park Dedication.

Commissioner Shumway suggested going on a time factor for park dedication. If you subdivide a
portion of your property you would have to subdivide the rest of the property within 7 years er
you would have to pay park dedication again.

Merland Otto asked the Commission about the person who cuts off 2 acres and pay 10%, then a
year or 2 later divides the rest into 100 lots, what about the land value?

Motion By Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Prall to have Mark Banwart,
Merland Otto, Peter Raatikka and Bill Goodrich get together and make some recommendations,
regarding park dedication, for the Park and Recreation Commission to review.

Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Johnson, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and
Rustad. Voting No: None.
