Commissioner Shumway told Mr. Pearson that the Commission did not expect to put this trail in <br />without making some people upset. <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that there will be a workshop scheduled for this month and <br />that after the workshop we could send something out to the residents regarding the trails. <br /> <br />Case #2 Review Sketch Plan for Wildwood Acres Addition <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by. Commissioner Shumway. to accept cash to <br />satisfy park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and Rustad. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter and Commissioner Johnson. <br /> <br />Case #3 Information Items <br /> <br />Mark Banwart told the Commission about the upcoming joint meetings with the City Council. <br />The first to be held on February 22, 1989 to discuss park dedication, and the second to be held <br />on March 2, 1989 to consider a comprehensive park dedication agreement for the entire North <br />Fork P.U.D. <br /> <br />Mark Banwart also told the Commission that the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce is in favor <br />of the Dayton/Ramsey bridge. <br /> <br />Case #4 Update on the River's Bend South Park Development <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that the DNR informed him that they want canopy trees along <br />the River and the oxbow. He also told the Commission that the City was going to try to use the <br />park plan they already has Io get the fishing pier. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that the irrigation equipment for the ballfields at Central <br />Park is on the City Council agenda. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was in favor of the improvements to the ballfields at Central <br />Park. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Hetland to adjourn the <br />meeting at 8:15 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and Rustad. <br />Voting No: None.
