Commissioner Shumway told Mr. Pearson that the Commission did not expect to put this trail in without making some people upset. Merland Otto told the Commission that there will be a workshop scheduled for this month and that after the workshop we could send something out to the residents regarding the trails. Case #2 Review Sketch Plan for Wildwood Acres Addition Motion by Commissioner Hetland and seconded by. Commissioner Shumway. to accept cash to satisfy park dedication requirements. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and Rustad. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairman Lichter and Commissioner Johnson. Case #3 Information Items Mark Banwart told the Commission about the upcoming joint meetings with the City Council. The first to be held on February 22, 1989 to discuss park dedication, and the second to be held on March 2, 1989 to consider a comprehensive park dedication agreement for the entire North Fork P.U.D. Mark Banwart also told the Commission that the Anoka County Chamber of Commerce is in favor of the Dayton/Ramsey bridge. Case #4 Update on the River's Bend South Park Development Merland Otto told the Commission that the DNR informed him that they want canopy trees along the River and the oxbow. He also told the Commission that the City was going to try to use the park plan they already has Io get the fishing pier. COMMISSION INPUT Merland Otto told the Commission that the irrigation equipment for the ballfields at Central Park is on the City Council agenda. The consensus of the Commission was in favor of the improvements to the ballfields at Central Park. ADJOURN Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Hetland to adjourn the meeting at 8:15 p.m. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Commissioners Hetland, Lokker, Shumway, Prall and Rustad.
