Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Lokker. <br /> <br />Case #5 Discussion Reoardino the Park and Recreation Bud0et. <br /> <br />Merland Otto reviewed the budget with the Park Commission. He told the Commission that the <br />equipment for the tot lot at River's Bend Park has been ordered and will be installed this year as <br />will the equipment for Autumn Heights Park. <br /> <br />Merland Otto stated that he has requested that Sandra Ashley, Finance Officer, provide the <br />Commission with some realistic budget figures for 1990. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland requested that Merland Otto research whether or not there was an <br />agreement between the City of Ramsey and Federal Cartridge that specified improvements at <br />Central Park in terms of a dollar amount and time frame. <br /> <br />Merland Otto provided the Commission with copies of the 5 year budget plan. <br /> <br />Case #6 Park Equi.Dment at Titterud Park. <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that the park equipment they ordered for Titterud Park <br />last month is almost the same as what is already there. He told the Commission that they have <br />two choices, they can keep the equipment and put it into another park, or they can cancel that <br />order with no penalty and order some olher equipment. <br /> <br />Commissioner Prall stated that she feels the Commission should reorder some equipment due to <br />the fact that Titterud Park is very well used. <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that he has a comparative list of equipment that can be put <br />into the park. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland asked that we could install some kind of handicapped accessible <br />equipment. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Shumway and seconded by Commissioner Johnson to accept Merland <br />Otto's list of replacement equipment for Titterud Park with the exception of some kind of <br />handicapped accessible equipment instead of the log roll on the list. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Johnson, Rustad <br />and Shumway. Voting No: None.
