Case #13 Request for review of revised sketch plan for Carr Addition: ease <br /> ,Of Irv Gi~rr. <br /> <br />Merland Otto presented the proposed plat of Carr Addition and the recommendation for the park <br />dedication. <br /> <br />Merland Otto stated that he will be providing Mr. Carr with a detailed letter explaining exactly <br />what needs to be shown on the plat for park dedication as per the Park Commission's <br />recommendation. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Chairman Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Lokker to accept dedication of <br />land or combination of land and cash to satisfy park dedication requirements for Carr Addition <br />with the intent of providing a trail between Northfork and Autumn Heights. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairman Hetland, Commissioners Prall, Lokker, Rustad and <br />Roselle. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway and Johnson. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that there has been no response to the ad for volunteers <br />to install playground equipment; most likely the equipment will not be installed until next <br />spring. <br /> <br />Merland Otto also informed the Commission that the City maps are being updated showing parks <br />as related to existing developments. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the tree purchases made by the City. The City ended up with a <br />smaller amount of trees than what was originally stated they would get. <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that City Staff has asked to negotiate on three parcels of <br />land in regards to trail/right-of-way. Council is setting up a joint meeting with Parks <br />Commission. The meeting will take place in late October or early November. The Commission <br />may also touch on other issues such as where the park dedication funds are going, etc. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland handed out a memorandum regarding a seminar on Parliamentary <br />Procedures being held in January, 1991, sponsored by Government Training Service. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION/OCTOBER 12, 1989 <br /> PAGE 7 OF 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
