Motion by Co~nmissioner Holm to amend Item 4II of the proposed findings of <br />fact to ix~dicate that the proposed use will not be unduly dangerous. <br /> <br />Commizsioner Hendriksen stated that there is potential for additional <br />flndimgs being added that would be u6ed as a ba~e for determining the <br />outcome of Items 11-15. <br /> <br />Commissioner Holm withdrew his motion. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissloncr Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Howell to <br />amend Item 97 to include information indicating that the 75 foot setback <br />requirement for buil~in~s housing animals came into effect with the 1986 <br />recodification; the barn on the subject property was in e::istence prior to <br />that time· <br /> <br />Eotion carried· Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmcrman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Shumway, Rolm am4 Terry· Voting I~o: Kone. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the number of horses that previous owners of <br />the subject property have maintained on the property. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Holm and seconded by Commissioner Howell to add Item <br />~-17 to the proposed findings of fact indicating that Ms. Kathy Hellerstedt <br />of 17511 Driscoll Street N.W. has indicated that in the 14 years she has <br />lived in the azea, there have always been a maximum 'of two horses <br />maintained on the subject property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Holm, Shumway and Terry· Vo~.ng I~o: Kone. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />add Stem #18 to the proposed findings of fac: indicating that the Applicant <br />has stated that at the time her purchase of the home closed, the number of <br />horses on the property increased to 6 and is currently at 5. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Ms. Williams stated that she does not intend to keep <br />more than 5 horses on the property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, C~missioners Hendriksen, <br />LaDue, Howell, Holm, Shumway and Te~rv Voting No: Kone <br /> <br />Motion by C=mmissioner Howell and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to amend <br />Item ~1 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate :hat the request is to <br />maintain a maximum of 5 horses on the prop,try. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Commissioners Howell, <br />LaDue, Eendriksen, Terry and Shumway.
