8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br />At the invitation of Mayor Strommen, high school students were invited to approach the Council <br />and introduce themselves. <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. He provided an update on <br />funding for a Highway 10 overpass and indicated the Legislature continues to debate the bonding <br />bill, which may be in jeopardy. City Administrator Ulrich stated he and Mayor Strommen will <br />travel to Washington, D.C. to talk with the City's delegation about this funding. <br />Mayor Strommen noted the legislative session will close next week so additional information <br />will be available by then. <br />9. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Backous, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried. <br />The regular meeting of the City Council adjourned at 7:40 p.m. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurtis G.
