Berg explained his en,~neer s plans for drainage in Wildwood Acres: those plans
indicate that drainage will flow towards the street because there is a 10 foot fali elevation
running to the south side of the plat.

Chairman Zimmerman noted that the drainage plans for Wildwood should allex4ate some of
the water problems in Deerwood.

She~ Thole - Stated that it appears when Dick Carson developed Deerwood, the code
relating to water tables was not enforced.

Lawrence Thole - Stated that the County spent $50,ff00 to study the drainage ditch in the
subject area and determined that nothing can be done to improve area &minage.

Mr. Berg noted that DNR's report indicates a conditional use permit would be necessmD'
for ~y £~lling in of wetlands; the Wildwood plat includes no filling of wetlands.

Motion by Commissioner La. Due and segonded by Commissioner Hendriksen to
recormmend preHmina.D' plat approval of Wildwood Acres contingent upon compliance with
the CiD' En~neer's report dated Februm,-y 27, 1989 and providing a &'ainage connection
along the west side of Lots 4 mad 11, Bloc& 1.

Planning & Zoning Commission/March 7, 1989
Page 7 of 8
