Case #5: <br /> <br />Award Contract For River's Bend P;~rk Improvement Pn,ject <br />#89-1: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto recalled that the City has been delaying: contract award for the River's Bend }'ark <br />Improvement project pending Anoka County's ~eceipt of' necessary permits for the Rum <br />River Bridge project. The Count}' has revised the bridge project and received the necessary <br />permits. The revision to the bridge project does allow for an access to River's Bend Park <br />South. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Count:ilmember DeLuca to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-132 awarding a contract to Buck Blacktop, Inc. for the River's Bend <br />Park South Development contingent upon the mechanics of the County's pernfitfing for the <br />Rum River Bridge project being finalized. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #6: Northfork Easement Vacation: <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich noted that the proposed resolution to vacate easements in <br />Northfork has been revised from what was included in Council's agenda packet. Council <br />was provided with copies of the most recent version of the proposed resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-133 which is a resolution vacating certain easements within the <br />Northfork Planned Un:,z Development, ant directing the City Clerk/Administrator to file a <br />Notice of Completion of the proceeding ,,,,4th the County Auditor. <br /> <br />/,,'lotion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #7: <br /> <br />Authorize Purchase Of Tot Lot/Playground Equipment For City <br />Parks: <br /> <br />Mr. Otto noted that the 1989 Parks Capital Improvements Budget included $15.6,30 for <br />play~ound equipment. Mr. Otto presented proposed resolutions for the purchase of <br />playground equipment based on the recommendations of the Park & Recreation <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-134 authorizing the purchase of park equipment for River's Bend Park. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-06-135 authorizing the purchase of park equipment for Titterud Pa_rk. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
