Juniper Woods is not consistent with the surrounding area. <br /> <br />Dorothy Stadfclt -lnquired about the City's goals and if it is tile City's intent to get as <br />much municipal sewer and water into the city as possible. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that the Metro Council is forcing the City to limit <br />development to 10 acre minimum lot sizes in non-sewered areas. <br /> <br />Chairman Zin~merman stated that it is Ramsev's goal to have a minimal number of <br />additional lots in the rural area and develop it's sewer and water area. <br /> <br />Don Jazdzews~ - Repeated that two non-resident developers wanted sewer and water; a lot <br />of residents didn't want sewer and water development; on that basis, why is the City <br />approving it? <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer stated that the City needs to deal with the facts; the fact that the <br />residents do not like Juniper Woods developing with sewer and water is an opinion. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that based on a Supreme Court decision, cities cannot legally make an.',, <br />distinction of ownership relating to land use.
