~ Request for sketch Dian review of Haubrich Addition: cas~ ~f John <br /> i]nd Marilyn Haubrich. <br /> <br />Merland Otlo informed the Commission that Staff was recommendin~ that park dedication be <br />satisfied by a combination of land and cash. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to recommend that the City Council require a 8' X 20' <br />strip of land along County Road 5 and the development of a 8' by 609' walkway to satisfy park <br />dedication requirements for Haubrich Addition. <br /> <br />ReQuest for Sketch Piton Rrtvi~w for Sortebera's 6th Addition: case <br />of Allen Sorteberq. <br /> <br />Merland Otto informed the Commission that Staff's recommendation was to aquire lots ! and 2 or <br />3 and 4 to satisfy park dedication. <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland asked Mr. Sorteberg which lots he taught would work out better. <br /> <br />Mr. Sorteberg told the Commission that he felt lots 3 and 4 would be better because they are <br />more secluded then the other, lots 1 and 2 have houses very close. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission is lo recommend that City Council require lots 3 and 4, block 3 <br />to satisfy park dedication for Sorteberg's 6th addition. <br /> <br />Case #4 Beview Park Plans for Cedar Hills. Chestnut Hills i~nd Windemere <br /> ~oods Addition. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue. <br /> <br />Case #5 Review resolution approving Policy Governino Appointments to <br /> Boards and Commissions in the City of Ramsay, <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Hetland asked the Commission if they had any ideas regarding the issue of one <br />person being on more than one Commission. <br /> <br />A discussion ensued and the consensus of the Commission was that they feel a person should be on <br />only one Commission al a time. <br /> <br />Case #6 .Review and Discus8 Update8 to Park and Recreation Element to <br /> .Ra. msey's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue awaiting further information from City <br />Council. <br /> <br />PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION/AUGUST 10, 1989 <br /> Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br /> <br />
