City Staff recommends preliminarT ;;fat approval <br />and that the developer initiate a conditional use permit for mining and gating with the borrow <br />material to be obtained from the Oakwood Hills Addition; this would involve obtaining a release <br />from the developer of Oakwood Hills to turn over the grading and mining permit for O'~wood <br />Hills to thc the developer of Nature \ticw. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cich and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve the <br />prcliminaD' pku of Nature View Addition and to obrmn a release from IX~'-. David Schulte to tram the <br />grading and mining permit for Oakwood Hills over to Mr. Jon Rambosek, developer of Nature of <br />View Addition. <br /> <br />Mo:ion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case <br /> <br />Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Operate A Commercial Dog <br />Kennel; Case Of Mr. Bret Scott: <br /> <br />Ms. Frolik stated that the Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing regarding <br />Mr. Scott's request for a conditional use permit to operate a commercial dog kennel at his home <br />and recommended approval of the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adopt Findings <br />of Fact ~0259 relating to Mr. Bret Scott's request for a conditional use permit to operate a <br />commercial dog kennel at 7910 173rd Avenue N.W. in the Rural Resident/al District. <br />Further Discussion: Coundlmember DeLuca noted that the findings of fact indicates there will be <br />10 runs for 10 dogs; the site plan only shows 7 runs. Ms. Frolik stated that there must be an error <br />on the site plan as Mr. Scott indicated each dog would have it's own run. Mr. Goodrich noted that <br />lx~. Scott is purchasing the property on a contract for deed and requested that Ms. Frolik obtain the <br />signature of the fee title owner on the conditional use permit application. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Peterson and <br />Cich.
