Citv's efforts to have ?\in/DOT study <br />the safer>, conditions at Hw?. #47 and 153rd Avenue N.'~L and take action accordingly. <br /> <br />b) Lights at Central Park <br /> <br />Councilmcmber Pcterson reported that the lights at Central Park are on until 11 p.m. <br />evenings. <br /> <br />Motion by Counciimembzr Pcterson and seconded by Councilmember Cich directing C/tv <br />Staff to purchase a timer system for the lights at Cenu-zd Parl:. <br /> <br />Motion came& \:oting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Counciimembers DeLuca. Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />c) Public Works facilib, <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson stated that the City should ser/ously consider constructing a new <br />public works garage and fire barn. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley replied that the Public Works relocation and expansion will be included in the <br />1990 budget discussions. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann requested that City Staff perform some preliminary studies regarding <br />relocating the Pubhc Works facility. <br /> <br />d) Appeals Board <br /> <br />Mr. Harfley stated that the City adopted the Uniform Building Code some time ago; that <br />code requires the City to establish an Appeals Board; there is currently a situation in the <br />City which calls for the attention of the Appeals Board; City Council should begin to <br />consider establishing an Appeals Board with no more than 5 members.
