Case #2: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN REVIEW OF CROOKED OAK ADDITION; <br />CASE OF JOHN SCHULTZ <br /> By: Mark S. Banwart, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The proposed minor subdivision has a total area of 4.6 acres. Previous to the taking of property <br />for County Road #5, this parcel had a total acreage of 4.99 acres. The subdivision consists of two <br />(2) 2.3 acre lots. The existing and proposed land use is R-1 Rural Residential. The proposed land <br />use is R-1R Rural Residential. For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />Do <br /> <br />Site location map <br />Proposed subdivision <br />Letter from John Schultz regarding consideration of Variance of Lot Size <br />(September 12, 1989) <br />City Engineer's review (September 26, 1989) <br />City Landscape Architect's review (September 26, 1989) <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />On September 12, 1989, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch plan from John <br />Schultz for Crooked Oak Addition. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends that in consideration of land taking for right-of-way purposes, there should be <br />sketch plan approval as per the City Engineer's review dated September 26, 1989. <br /> <br />Staff recommends that cash in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for the newly <br />created lot be used to satisfy the park dedication requirement. <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Motion to accept cash in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) for the newly created lot <br />as satisfaction of the park dedication requirement. <br /> <br />Motion to approve sketch plan review and recommend the minor subdivision to proceed to City <br />Council for final plat approval. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney X <br />City Engineer X..X_ <br />Community Development Director X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Planning & Zoning Comm. <br />Park & Recreation Comm. <br /> <br />X <br />X <br /> <br /> <br />
