COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />a) Recommendation From Economic Development Commission <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman recalled that at the last meeting he provided the Commission with <br />copies of a letter from the Economic Development Commission requesting suppor~ of their <br />request that the City hire an economic development staff person to work on the Star City <br />Program and pursue economic development within the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that City Council hire an economic development staff person, either part or full <br />time, to work on the Star City Program, assist the Economic Development Commission <br />and pursue economic development within the Ci9'. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Bawden, Deemer and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to adjourn <br />the regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None.
