Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-09-264 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0651 TO REZONE CERTAIN <br />PROPERTY FROM E-1 EMPLOYMENT TO PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received an application to rezone certain property in accordance <br />with Section 9.03.03 (Zoning Amendments) and 9.20.31 (Planned Unit Development) of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That Basalt Properties, LLP, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant," has properly applied to <br />rezone certain property from E- 1, Employment to Planned Unit Development (PUD). <br /> <br />That the Planning Commission conducted a public hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.03 of <br />the City Code on September 4, 2003 and said public hearing was properly advertised, and <br />the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated by reference. <br /> <br />3. That the property proposed to be rezoned is legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lots 2, 3, and 4, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 2, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota <br /> <br />4. That the total area of the property to be rezoned is 2.62 acres in size. <br /> <br />That the proposed rezoning is located within the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA) <br />boundary. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is currently zoned E-1 Employment and the surrounding adjacent <br />properties are zoned E-1, Employment and E-2, Employment. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to plat the three separate parcels that currently comprise the <br />Subject Property into one lot. <br /> <br />That the Applicant is proposing to build two buildings on the subject property, one will be a <br />11,200 square foot building and the second will be a 16,800 square foot building. <br /> <br />That the development is proposing to deviate from City Ordinances in the following <br />manner; have two principal buildings on one lot of record, a reduced rear yard setback for <br />the northern building. <br /> <br /> <br />
