CROSS CIF HOPE
LUTHERAN CHURCH
April 2, 2013
Chris Anderson
City of Ramsey
7550 Sunwood Drive NW
Ramsey, MN 55303
RE: Extension of Improvement Deadline
Dear Chris,
5730 179th Lane NW
Ramsey, MN 55303
Ph. #763-753-2057
Please be advised that Cross of Hope would like to request an extension of it's current improvement deadline,
of June 15, 2013, to June 15, 2014.
The reason for the request is the pending litigation with our contractor. We have established that the parking
lot does not meet the original plan and does not function as was designed; therefore we will have an
engineered plan created that is the intent of the original plan within the elevations available. Work on the
parking lot will have probable impact on the sidewalks and the landscaping in front and we would like to avoid
repeating work and/or disturbing areas newly planted.
This request is only related to the improvements in the direct front of the building of landscape trees, shrubs,
and perennials that fall within 25 feet of the west end of the parking lot. Other unfinished requirements,
which include erosion control to disturbed areas south of the parking lot, the in -filled area in the back of the
property, as well as the work necessary in the courtyard space (remove the old blacktop, regrade, add black
dirt, and add sod/seed), will be completed as planned. All other requirements related to tree planting and
erosion control have been completed.
Please let Ginger Miliner know if you have requests of us in this regard.
Sincerely,
Deb Meyer
Council President
CC: Scott Solberg, Ginger Miliner, James Strommen
