Councilmember Zimmerman introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-10-276 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION IDENTIFYING FINDINGS, APPROVING A COMPRHENSIVE PLAN <br />AMENDMENT TO CHANGE A LAND USE DESIGNATION FROM PLACES TO WORK <br />TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, AND AUTHORIZING CITY STAFF TO SUBMIT AN <br />APPLICATION TO THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received a petition from residents of Rivlyn Ave. NW <br />(Petitioners) requesting an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to change the future land use <br />designation of their properties located on Rivlyn Ave. NW from Places to Work to Low Density <br />Residential for the following legally described property: <br /> <br />That part of Lot 26, Auditors Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota described as <br />follows: Commencing at the point of inersection of the northerly line of Rivlyn Avenue <br />as laid out in the plat of Dickensons Mississippi Estate with the easterly line of Poplar <br />Drive (Now known as Tungsten Street NW) as laid out in said plat. Thence southeasterly <br />along said northly line of Rivlyn Avenue as shown in said plat and its extension a distance <br />of 500 feet to a point to be hereafter known as point (D) for the purpose of this <br />description. Thence northeasterly parallel with said easterly line of Tungsten Street NW <br />to a point of intersection with the southerly line of that parcel of land described as follows <br />and hereinafter known as parcel (A). Thence part of Lot 26 Auditors Subdivision No. 96 <br />according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the register of <br />deeds in and for Anoka County. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />That part of Lot 26 Auditors Subdivision No. 96 described as follows: Commencing at <br />intersection of northly line of Rivlyn Avenue with Easterly line of poplar Drive (now <br />known as Tungsten Street NW) as shown on plat of Dickensons Mississippi Estate, thence <br />southeasterly along said northly line 300 feet to point of beginning, thence continue <br />southeasterly along said northly line 100 feet, thenc northeasterly parrell with easterly line <br />of Poplar Drive to intersect with the following described line (said line hereinafter referred <br />to as line A): commencing at southeast comer of Lot 13 Auditors Subdivision No. 96, <br />thence southwesterly along southwesterly extension of southeasterly line of said Lot 13, <br />260 feet to point of beginning of line to be described, thence easterly at an interior angle <br />to northeast of 91 degrees, 30 minutes, 427.1 feet and there terminate, thence <br />northwesterly along said line "A" to intersect with a line drawn parrell with said easterly <br />line of Poplar Drive and thru Point of Beginning, thence southwesterly parallel with said <br />easterly line to point of beginning; subject to easement of record. <br /> <br />And <br /> <br />That part of Lot 26, Auditor's Subdivision No. 96, Anoka County, Minnesota, described <br />as follows: Commencing at the point where the easterly line of Poplar Drive interesects <br />with the northerly line of Rivlyn Road; thence easterly along the northern line of Rivlyn <br /> <br /> <br />
