<br />Councilmember Kuzma introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #13-05-84 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TRANSIT ORIENTED <br />DEVELOPMENT GRANTS AND DIRECTED STAFF TO EXECUTE GRANT <br />AGREEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the City was successfully awarded two (2) Transit Oriented Development <br />(TOD) grants from the Metropolitan Council Livable Communities Program for projects located <br />within The COR; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , Grant #1 was awarded for the design, engineering, and construction of <br />portions of Center Street within The COR in the amount of $650,360.00; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS <br /> , Grant #2 was awarded for alternatives analysis and geotechnical study for <br />Mississippi Skyway, potential pedestrian overpass over U.S. Highway 10 and Burlington <br />Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) rail lines in the amount of $100,000.00. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey hereby accepts the above grants and <br />authorizes Staff to execute the required Grant Agreements. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />LeTourneau, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Backous <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
