The <br />only aspect that each sign quote should not include, would bethepower supply (but include <br />all electrical components within the sign or monument). Bidders are strongly encouraged to <br />report with great specificity on any and all details of this design -build quote. For instance, <br />if one quoting firm spec'd X inch aluminum and another omitted specifying the aluminum's <br />thickness, the city may choose the sign firm with the greatest detail. The City of Ramsey does <br />reserve the right to re -bid the project, or choose any quoted proposal, based upon the best <br />interest of the City.. <br />Quotations are d ue by 2:00 p.m. on May 13th, 2013. In addition to the cost for each monument <br />or sign, you are also asked to identify how many full weeks from timeof order, to installation <br />will be needed. Please note liquidated damages of $50 per calendar day may apply after an <br />agreed to date. Note: It is the intention, if feasible, to have both signscompleted and in place <br />before the fi rst concert at The Draw on June 20th, 2013. <br />Available or attached to electronic correspondence are The COR design Guidelines (Appendix <br />B-Revised). Thisdocumentalsooutlinesthescopeoffutureprojectsand potential <br />opportunitiesfor your firm. For this reason, the city is anticipating very cost competitive <br />pricing for these first two, somewhat smaller stature signs or monuments <br />The first quote requested is for 'The Draw' sign depicted below. The sign portion shall be a <br />fabricated aluminum cabinet, with a double -sided or two, one (1) sided acrylic panel(s) with <br />UV resistant painted logo facing each way. The base shall be fabricated aluminum attached to <br />a poured concrete footing - thefooting shall be extended 18" inches at grade with a 'sidewalk' <br />surface to function asamowing maintenance strip. The base's finish shall be all faux Kasota <br />Stone (painted to match theMunicipal Center building in theCOR), and not with Dolomite <br />'bricks' shown. The side of the base will have a 'cap stone' and not the planter shown. <br />
