Motion by Councilmember Bawden and ~e¢onded by Councilmer~ber Pearson to <br />adopt Resolution 688-246 receiving bids and awarding bid to Eddy Brothers <br />Company in the amount of $10,240.00 for breathing apparatus. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~5: MSAS - 5 Year Construction Program: <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that every 3 years, Mn/DOT requests cities to update <br />their 5 year }'~SA construction plan~. Ramgey's Road and Bridge Comt:ittee <br />met on December 16, 1988 and i~ recomme~ding utilizing future MSA funds to <br />extend 153rd in a east/west direction across the city. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #88-247 approving the MSAS system 5 year construction <br />program for Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~6: Rum River Brid~e Crossin~ <br /> <br />Project Manager Jim Gromberg attended the December 13, 1988 Anoka County <br />Highway Department meeting regarding the Rum River Bridge and it was <br />reported that the County does not foresee any problems in acquiring <br />right-of-way, that funding for the bridge is in place and construction <br />should be completed by 9/1/89. <br /> <br />Case {~7' Report From, ~er~onne! Committee: <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca reported that the Personnel Committee met on December <br />27, 1988 and reviewed the proposed contract for the City Administrator. <br />The consensus of the Personnel Committee was to recommend that City Council <br />extend the City Administrator's contract for another year with a rate <br />increase to $46,000/year. <br /> <br />Mo~ion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Bawden to <br />extend the contract for the City Administrator for a one year period with a <br />rate increase to $46,000/year, effective immediately. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca noted that the City Administrator <br />did not receive a rate increase last year. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Bawden.
