Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #1: Consider Purchase Of Land Adjacenl To The Ramsey <br /> Municipal Center Property: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated thai CiTy Staff strongly recommends thai City Council consider <br />favorably the. purchase of property adjacent to Ramsey Municipal Center because of the <br />favorable terms and numerous potential needs for additional public property. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to authorize <br />the Mayor and City Administrator to negotiate final term:, and conditions for the purchase <br />of the I2Iolasek property and execute all relevant documents necessary to accomplish said <br />purchase, not to exceed the terms and conditions set by a purchase agreement entered into <br />by the Holaseks and City Administrator David Hanley on February 3, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Peterson, Cich, DeLuca <br />and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #I0: Coverage For Injuries To Elected Officials: <br /> <br />Mr. Hadtrath. Ramsey's agent of record, was present and strongly recommended that <br />elected officials continue coverage under the Workman's Compensation policy rather than <br />CIGNA, an alternative policy offered by the League of Minnesota Cities. <br /> <br />Motion bv Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson directing <br />City Staff to draft an ordinance documenting Workman's Compensation coverage for <br />elected officials in Ramsey. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For Final Plat Approval Of Holasek Addition: <br /> <br />/,&. Banwa_rt stated that Stephen and Gloria Holasek are requesting final plat approval for a <br />minor subdivision for property located east of Nowthen Blvd. and south of 153rd Avenue <br />N.W. The property consists of 24.4 acres and is proposed to be subdivided as one block <br />and 2 lots. Mr. Banwan noted that the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Park and <br />Recreation Commission have reviewed the plat and recommended approval with certain <br />park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to adopt <br />Resolution #89-02-22 approving ~anfing final plat approval of Holasek Addition. <br /> <br />Morion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: Billiard And Amusement Center Licenes: <br /> <br />Mr. Curt Chesler was presented representing Cue Time Billiards in River's Bend Plaza. <br />Mr. Chesler noted that he found out through the Ramsey Resident Newslettter that his <br /> <br />City Council/February t4, 1989 <br /> Page 7 of 14 <br /> <br /> <br />
