Mr. Banwart stated that Mr. Jim Peterson is requesting site plan approval for an addition to <br />the former McGregor Restaurant building to develop Custom Coach RV. The Planning <br />and Zoning Commission recommended approval with certain conditions. <br /> <br />Councilmember Peterson inquired if there would be a limit to the number of vehicles Mr. <br />Peterson could have displayed on the property. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that the number of vehicles on display would be limited by virtue of <br />setback requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DcLuca and seconded by Councilmember Cich to approve the <br />site plan and development agreement for Mr. Jim Peterson's Custom Coach RV, Inc. with <br />the following contingencies: <br /> <br />1. Development of the facility will be limited to two phases. <br /> <br />Exterior finish of the front wall facing Highway #10 on both the existing <br />building and the new building comply with City Code requirement to be at <br />least 50% materials other than metal. <br /> <br />No structures shall be constructed on the rear 50 feet of the site in <br />consideration of the future possibility of a service road in the area. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Pearson, Cich <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #4: Request For Site Plan Approval Of Whispering Pines Outdoor; <br /> Case of Mr. Jon Hanson: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Mr. Jon Hanson is requesting site plan approval for a bait store and <br />indoor archer3, range to be located on the south side of Hwy. #10 in the Riverside \Vest <br />Addition. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended approval with a 15 <br />foot variance to the 50 foot setback in order to be consistent with surrounding structures. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve <br />the site plan and development agreement for Mr. Jori Hanson's Whispering Pines Outdoor <br />with a variance to setback requirements. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers DeLuca, Cich, Pearson <br />and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request For A Conditional Use Permit-To Maintain A Horse <br /> Hobby Farm; Case Of Ms. Rhonda Williams And Philip <br /> Swiggum: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that City Staff is recommending denial of Ms. Williams' request to <br />keep 5 horses on 4.2 acres; current ordinance would require 15 acres to keep 5 horses. <br />The Planing and Zoning Commission chose not to make a recommendation on Ms. <br />Williams' request and is encoura~ng City Council to amend the Horse ordinance.
