Cas~' ~!: Anoka TVI Air Traffic Gelltro! Program (Presentation by Nuri S. ltassumani, Director of Anoka, T.V.1. Mr. Hassumani stated that there is a need for more air tra~c controllers who are adequately trained. A.T.V.I. has $ ~wo year pro,am for air traffic control for students who would then fi(, or: to F.A.A. owned fi~cilities such as the one in Oklahoma City. The F.A.A. or S~au~ of Minnesota would inform the A.T.V.I. which airport ~t would Be candueter~ from and how it would be conducted. The precise location of these classes is still in the discussior, sta~es and nothin~ is defined at this point in time. The F.A.A. would prefer that proposals be submitted at the State level as a joint edom. Mr. ?tassuman~ prefers that we do not ~ke any action on our own and ad~'ises us to contact the State Board ir, keep ad~dsed of the situation. Motion by Commissioner Gorecki and seconded by Commissioner Ippel Gr Chairman Wagner and Commissioner Ippe) to meet with Mr. Ken Pa~ and Mr. Joe Grabel, Director of the Minnesota T.V.I, system to gather moro information.
