COUNCIL BUSIA~ESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Dk~m~ss 153rdAvenue Northwest ex~mnsion: <br /> <br />Case ~1 was tabled until the scheduled presentation time. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Approve sumnmry of Ordinance #89-8, an ordinance licensing and regulating the <br />sale and consumption of off-sale intoxicating liquor. <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley inquired as to the Ramsay City Council's views on the <br />publication of Ordinance #89-8; publishing the entire ordinance vs. publishing the summary. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmembcr Paterson and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to publish the <br />summary of Ordinance #89-8. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Paterson, Pearson, and DeLuca. <br />VofingNo: None. Absent: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />Case #3: Iix, port from blt. Bernard Steffen, labor negotiator. <br /> <br />imf. Stcffen distributed copies of the labor agreement to the City Council. In Councilmcmbcr Cich's <br />absence, City Administrator David Hartley expressed the interest of Councilmcmber Cich <br />relating to personnel matters and labor issues, and advised that the Council is being asked to <br />consider this issue at a special meeting at the request of the bargaining unit. Mr. Steffen then <br />summarized 'the attached labor agreement outline for the members of City Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to authorize the <br />Mayor and City Administrator to execute an agreement on terms and conditions of employment <br />with AFSCME based on the presentation of Mr. Bernard Steffen. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
